We live in a time in which humankind has accumulated unimaginable wealth. Yet, inequality is constantly growing, many people feel left behind, and populism is on the rise worldwide. This discrepancy shows the need for visions on how to progress towards a just and inclusive society. Universal basic income (UBI) is a broadly discussed idea in this context. In this workshop, we aim to form a common understanding of the elements of social justice in order to analyze in which way and form a UBI could contribute to it.
